Customer Reviews
Absolutely loved my Zero Waste Kit!
I just received my latest Fresh Prep order, and it was fantastic! I got the Zero Waste Kits again, and the convenience is just unbeatable. The ingredients for the Lemon Herb Chicken were so fresh, and the recipe was a breeze to follow. Plus, no waste to deal with afterward! It makes dinner so enjoyable. I tell everyone about them!
Detailed thoughts on Fresh Prep order
I tried Fresh Prep for a few weeks, focusing on their Low Carb Meal Kits. Ordering was straightforward on their website; the weekly menu provided good options. Delivery to my area took about 4 days from order to arrival in the reusable cooler bag, which kept everything cold. The quality of the local BC ingredients was consistently high, and I appreciated the pre-chopped items, which saved a lot of time. One recipe for a beef and broccoli dish had slightly less broccoli than I would have liked, but it was still tasty. Customer support was responsive when I had a question about skipping a week. Overall, it's a solid service for convenient, fresh meals, though some portions could be a bit more generous.
Dinner made easy, tasted great
Got a couple of meals from Fresh Prep last week, the family meal plan. We had the chicken stir-fry and some pasta dish. Everything was pre-chopped, which was a lifesaver after work. My kids even ate it without much fuss, which is saying something! Felt good not to think about what to cook.
Consistently good meal kits
I've been ordering from Fresh Prep for over a year now, and they're still reliable. This last order, the Zero Waste Kits for the 2-Person Meal Plan, was just as good as previous ones. Ingredients are always fresh, and the recipes are easy to follow. They deliver on time, which is important for my schedule. It's why I keep coming back.
Good value for a first timer
This was my first time trying Fresh Prep. I used a sign-up offer for 6 free meals spread over a few weeks. That definitely made the cost of the first box worth it for the 2-Person Meal Plan. The ingredients for the salmon dish were fresh, and it came together quickly. Without the discount, it feels a bit pricey, but I appreciate the initial savings.
Quick delivery, fresh food
Ordered a Vegetarian Meal Kit. Delivery was on time. Ingredients were fresh. Recipes were clear. Cooked a tasty dinner without issues. Good experience overall.

Can you actually skip weeks easily? My schedule is kinda all over the place sometimes.
Are their ingredients genuinely fresh? Like, how long do they last in the fridge once I get them?
I'm thinking of trying Fresh Prep but heard HelloFresh is cheaper. Anyone tried both and can compare?
Hey, wondering if anyone knows if the 10 free meals deal is still active for new sign-ups? Saw it mentioned somewhere but can't find it now.
Does Fresh Prep do a student discount? I'm trying to save some money on groceries.
